Bournemouth Pier stands proud in the bay and the Pier Theatre has been attracting large audiences for many years. At the end of the pier you will find a childrens mini fun fair and great views across to Old Harry on the Purbeck Isles. You can also relax and watch the many Surfers who congregate around the Pier to catch the best waves in the bay or maybe you would rather watch the fishermen who fish from the lower jetty on the pier. During the summer months the facilities are enjoyed by the many holiday makers who visit Bournemouth including the cafe at the far end or the cafe bar situated above the amusements. The bar balcony is a favorite place to watch the friday night fireworks which are held at 10pm during the school holidays.
